Survivors include his wife, Hilaria; four daughters, Mrs. Alejandra Trujillo, Mrs. Frances Bojorquez, Mrs. Hortencia Sanchez, and Mrs. Rosa, Maria Lopez; three sons, Hilario, Jose Roberto, all living in Phoenix; a brother in Mexico and three sisters in California; 23 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

Bertha Rube Bertha Rube Mrs. Bertha Rube, a Phoenix' resident for the past years, died Saturday at Phoenix Baptist Hospital. She was 80. She lived at the Beatitudes Retirement Home at 1616 W. Glendale coming here from St.

Louis. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Venice Chapter in St. Louis. Surviving are a son, Wilbert Rube of Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Michel and Mrs.

Frieda Wilsdorf, both of St. Louis; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She will be taken to St. Louis for services and burial. A.

L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams, is handling local ar-" rangements. Amelia Halvorson Amelia Halvorson Mrs. Amelia Halvorson, who lived with her daughter, Mrs.

Leo Gavagan, at 4711 E. Clarendon, died yesterday in Doctors Hospital. She was 90. A native of Wisconsin, Mrs. Halvorson came here 11 years ago from Lisbon, N.D.

She was a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star Lodge and a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge and of Trinity Lutheran Church, all in Lisbon. Surviving besides Mrs. Gavagan are another daughter, Mrs. Merle Girard of St. Paul, where she frequently visited; a sister living in Oregon; four grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.

Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Paradise Chapel, 3934 E. Indian School. Services and burial will be in Lisbon. William Attaway Dies At 73; Rites Tomorrow Services for William Attaway, 73, died Saturday at a local nursing morrow at Sunset Chapel, 301 W.

Burial will be in Mountain View A native of Alabama, Mr. Attaway Carlos V. Lee Carlos V. Lee, 52, a former driver for Valley Transit Lines here for eight years, died Saturday at the home of his brother Sandusky, Ohio, it was learned here. The death was reported yesterday by C.

B. Basham, 3963 W. Brill, another driver for Valley Transit. Mr. Lee, a native of West Virginia, came to Phoenix from Ohio.

He lived at 1509 W. Lynwood, and left Phoenix Oct. 17. His last assignment for the bus company was the Mohave Route. Surviving are his wife, Rachel, and a daughter, Rochelle, both of Sandusky; another' daughter, Shirley, in Washington State; a son, Jack of Ohio; and four brothers and one sister in Ohio.

Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Quicks Funeral Home in Sandusky. Burial also will be in Sandusky. Adolfo Berrelleza Rosary for Adolfo Berrelleza, 87, a self employed gardner who died Saturday in his at 1329 E. Madison, will be at 8 Funeral p.m.

HERBERT F. HANCOX Hospital Administrator Herbert F. Hancox, 77, who Friday he would resign Jan. 1 as administrator of John C. Lincoln Hospital, died there yesterday.

The Chicago-born developer and civic leader had been termed a "vital factor in the phenomenal growth of the Sunnyslope area" by E. Ray Cowden, hospital board president. Mr. Hancox came here 18 years ago. He lived at 9615 N.

First Ave. Although resigning the hospital's directorship, Mr. 1 Hancox was to have remained as administrator of the Desert Mission, a Presbyterian welfare and child, care formed center the in nucleus Sunnyslope of Lincoln Hospital when it was opened 10 years ago. Mr. Hancox had been secretary of the Sunnyslope Development Co.

and was active in the Sunnyslope Concert Association. He is survived by his wife, Olga, and a daughter, Charlott, both of Phoenix; another daughter, Mrs. Betty Allen of Long Beach, a son, Herbert Jr. of Ft. Worth; a brother, Howard of Milwaukee, and two grandchildren.
