Blondes favor the sunny shade particularly. One of the pretty models in yellow is viewable at the house of Drecoll in Paris. It is made of pale tinted velvet so delicate lt la almost ivory. A girdle of rich gold braid studded with bronze ornaments holds the fullness of the skirt in front. The back of the model shows a bodice of black lace.

For coats that are light In color only, Paris chooses heavy Kasha or Jersey. Drecoll has designed such a coat in gray Jersey of firm, smooth texture. The usual straight line is varied by inset sections under the arms which form a low waistline into the shoulder seams. A straight 't'fif s. a3 IT fl I I I 1 I 'i -'I ill of songs.

The latest evening handbags now being carried by women in London's fashionable theaters and restaurants are fashioned of pearls. These new bags are round and flat. So small and perfectly matched are the pearls that it is difficult to detect that they are Imitation jewels.

By way of a finish there are narrow Jewelled frames, and sometimes a looped fringe of seed pearls. The old fashioned bead bag drawn together with a cord is also in favor.
