tib WEDNESDAY, MARC 29, (MM) Adrien H. Levesque, 89, of Mesa AZ, passed away March 26, 2000. Arrangements made by Bunker's Garden Chapel. Martha Ann Beckner, 88, of Peoria, died March 26, 2000. She was born on February 12, 1912 in Olathe, Kansas.

Survivors include her daughters-JoAnne Myrick and her husband, Jimmie; Marilyn Kossow and her husband, Michael; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday, March 30, at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Friday, March 31, at Hansen Chapel with interment following at Resthaven Park Michael W. Darby, 45, of Phoenix AZ, passed away in his sleep March 26, 2000.

He is survived by his loving sons-Geoffery and Wesley; their mother-Donna of Phoenix; his mother and step-father, Bobbye and Jimmie B. Webb of Crystal Springs, MS. Sisters-Mary Barn urn of Orlando, Paula Madden of Hermatige, TN; brother-Gary Keyes of Terry, MS also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Clyde B. Roberts, 82, of Phoenix, passed away March 25, 2000. Mr Roberts was born December 2, 1917 in Glendale AZ; he served honorably with the US Navy during World War II. Previously a local business owner with Texaco and Firestone, he had retired from the Pennsylvania Tire Company. A lifetime resident of Arizona, he was a member of the Elks Lodge and was former president of the Optimist He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary C.

Roberts. He is survived by his daughters, Debra L. Whitaker and Patrice Roberts; sons, Greg Roberts and John Whitaker; his sister, Wilma Edick; and his pride and joy, granddaughter, Megan P. Sauter. Services will be private.

She was a Book Keeper. Betty worked for the Illinois PTA for almost 20 years before moving to Arizona in 1977 where she became a Book Keeper for The Arizona National Live Stock Show until she retired some 10 years later. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Elmer L. McMuIlen and her son Harry E. McMuIlen.

Arrangements made by Cole and Maud Mortuary of Casa Grande. Fern W. Overlock, 77, of Erie, and formerly of Sun City, Arizona and Greenwich Connecticut, died Monday, March 27, 2000 at her residence in Erie, PA. Mrs. Overlock attended Northwestern University.

She trained as a paraprofessional in the field of Phobias at the White Plains Hospital Medical Center's Phobia Clinic, Whiter Plains, NY under the guidance of Dr. Manuel Zane. Most recently she was running support groups at Valley View Hospital in Youngtown, Arizona. She was a phobia Society of America. Mrs.

Overlock lived in Greenwich, CT from 1960 to 1985, when she moved to Sun City, Arizona. In 1999 she moved to Erie, to the Niagara Village Retirement Living Community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leslie C. Overlock in 1989 and two brothers; Leslie F. Wilson, Jr.

and Dale Wilson. She is survived by a son, Leslie C. Overlock, of Benicia CA; two daughters, Starr Nelson of Napa Valley, CA and Joelle Baker and her husband Brian of Erie, PA. She is further survived by six grandchildren, Keri Starr and Kristi Nelson of Napa Valley, CA; Sean and Jeff Overlock of Benicia, CA and Christopher and Andrew Baker of Erie, PA. A memorial service will be held in California at a later date.

March 31, National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix. Edward A. Ritchie, 91, of Glendale Arizona, passed away March 23 2000 and was born June 9, 1908 in Aspen Colorado. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1925 to 1927.

After discharge, he lived in various states, finally settling in Phoenix, Az in 1959. He was well respected in the construction industry. He enjoyed boating and fishing and was very active in Valley Big Brothers. He was a loving, caring dad who will be deeply missed. He is survived by daughters, Noline, Pamela and Sandra; son, Donald, and 4 grandchildren.

She was born in Buffalo, New York on February 20, 1943. Barbara was an Administrator Supervisor at John C. Lincoln Hospital. Survivors include: husband-John A. Candell; son-John Paul Candell; twin sister-Joan Doty; sister-Patricia Fitzpatrick.

27th 1999. He was born August 1st 1949 in Chicago, 111. to Alfred Lee and Inez Marie Cleveland. Ron was a volunteer primary care provider for many friends and acquaintances during their battle with the Aids virus. Ron showed incredible strength in his own battle against cancer.

Throughout these challenges, he always managed to maintain his zany sense of humor. He is sorely missed by his family and dear friends. Ron, we loved you and have been blessed to have you as our brother and friend. Survivors include stepfather, Jack Bowen; brothers, James, Richard and Alfred; sisters, Beverly Clark, Virginia Wilen, Betty McNabb, Judy Campbell, Diane Miller, Darlene Rosenson, and Donna Hoiness; and many nieces, nephews, and special friend, Cindy. An informal remembrance will be held at Squaw Peak Mountain Preserve, the Apache Ramada, March 30th 2000 at 3pm.

Gregory A. Collosi, born June 13, 1965, passed away March 18, 2000. Memorial services Thursday, March 30, 2000, 2:00 PM at Maryvale Mortuary, 6901 W. Indian School Rd, Phoenix. TO MY DEAR AND LOV ING HUSBAND: If ever two were one, then surely we.

Survived by wife Rosemary and family. Palmer I. Contreras, 72, passed away March 27, 2000. He was born in Phoenix to Palmer Sr. and Esther Iberri Contreras on May 23, 1927.

Following graduation from Phoenix Union High School he served in the U.S. Navy. Upon his return from the service, married Helen Morrison in 1948 and they shared many joys, pleasures, some sadness, but most of all love for 48 years. He is survived by his three daughters, Sandra Gladden, Terry Contreras, Holly Jean Welson and his son Rick; his special granddaughter Natalie; and his two brothers Carlos and Walter and his sister Patti Contreras. He will be lovingly remembered forever by his family and he will be missed at the sibling breakfasts.

And now he has followed his heart and, once again, will be with his love, Helen, who preceded him when she passed away in October 1996. Visitation will be held at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, on March 30, 2000 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Eunice Magdalene Nee Ewy Schmitz, was born in Rockwell, Iowai April 17, 1917. She left this life to be with her Lord Jesus March 26, 2000. She was the daughter of John J. Ewy and his wife Eleanor Martha Nee Hansen Ewy. She was originally committed to follow her future husband to the Papua, New Guinea, mission field but World War II intervened.

She and her newly ordained husband, Charles E. Schmitz, instead were called to the suburban mission field of Los Angeles, California, where she worked with her husband among many other duties of accompanying services in a dance studio and residential facilities until the war ended and a new church could be built to serve the new Ascension Lutheran Church. Later they were called to a new congregation to be established in Phoenix, Arizona, and to "mother" new mission congregations in four other states of the Intermountain Conference. After seventeen years, her husband was called to the Evangelism offices of the American Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1965 she followed her husband to the ministry of evangelism for the next eight years, often traveling with her husband.

In 1973 they moved to a new mission field of Southeast Florida where she served as office secretary (volunteer) until retirement in 1989. She remained active in church, social and political life until her death in the Del Webb Hospital of Sun City West, Arizona. Two sons graced the family and serve as survivors, Charles of Irvine, California, and Jon L. of Phoenix. Also survived by one grandchild, Kjersti Schmitz who after graduating from college and serving two terms with the Peace Corps in Africa and is now completing her Masters degree in Public Health.

She was, as well, survived by one sister, Marcella Arlyne Peter and two brothers, Warren John Ewy and Lemoyne Ewy. Visitation will be on March 29, 2000, Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Camelback Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camel-back Rd, Phoenix, Az and services Will be on Thursday, March 30, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at the American Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1830 W.

She is survived by her son, Christopher T. Kelley of Aurora, CO; sisters, Katherine Moody and Rosemary Francis; and brother, Robert Little, all of Terre Haute, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ava Reese Hicks King on March 4, 1987. His parents, George W. and Marie Hall King and a brother, Will King also preceded him. He worked for General Electric Corporation in Cincinnati, Ohio, for 33 years, retiring 19 years ago. He was a member of the Mt.

Moriah Christian Church, Pendleton County. He leaves a son, Byron Victor (Barney) King and a daughter-in-law, Gera, of Phoenix, Arizona; 3 grandchildren: Hunter, Austin, and Alicynn King and a brother, George King Jr. of Falmouth.
