Davis, 59; Pinal Official, Dies COOUDGE David C. Davis, 59, supervisor of the Pinal County Juvenile Home and a former county supervisor, died yesterday in Mesa Southside Community Hospital. Services will be at 4 p.m. tomorrow in the Coolidge Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Burial will be in John K. English John K. English, 80, who had taught school 15 years in Texas before he moved to Globe 38 Valley Memorial Park. Davis, a native of Pirtleville. had been a Coolidge resident for more than 32 years.

He previously had resided in Florence, Ray, and Superior. He was a county supervisor from 1955 to 1965 and had worked for the Arizona Highway Department for 13 years and the county highway department for nine years. He was a charter member of the Casa Grande Elks Lodge, a years aS0, Sunday in Northwest Hospital, Glcndale. Mr. English, 2234 W.

(AP)-Tom Wallace pioneer in radio nationally and in Tucson, died yesterday here, where he had been a resident for two months. Death was attributed to a heart attack. A native of Bisbee who graduated from the University of Arizona in 1922, Mr. Wallace entered the radio business as early as 1918, when he sang on the first station in San Diego while still serving in the Navy.

After graduating from the UofA, he went to Los Angeles and in 1927 became chief announcer for station KNX in Hollywood. A decade later he was in Chicago, where he produced the first Red Skelton show as well as the Tommy Dorsey show and Uncle Walter's Doghouse, in which he played the part of Uncle Walter. In 1949, Mr. Wallace and the late Tom Brenneman received federal authorization for radio station KTKT in Tucson. The station went on the air in 1950 and Mr.

Wallace came to Tucson to take over its operation in 1951. Survivors include his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Richard Fin-ley, both of California; and two sons, George Wallace, general sales manager of KGUN-TV and Tom Wallace manager of radio station KAIR, both of Tucson, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Pickrell and Mrs. Dorothea Ma-han, both of Tucson, also survive.

Alice Talhott Mrs. Alice Talbott. 39, the daughter of the late George singing Aircrews aisiers, aiea ot cancer yesterday at her West Los Angeles home. She was 51. Her illness broke up the trio eight months ago.
