All woodwork is ash, including the beamed ceiling. The pale pink built-in oven, refrigerator, and automatic washer are attractive features of the Woodwork is ash, and counter tile is pink, too. Bright red apples are scattered over the wallpaper in the dinette area, and the color Is carried out in the band of the curtains hung at the bay window. In the master bedroom a beige and white chaise lounge was chosen for its perfect blend with the wallpaper.

A light green rug contrasts with the pink and white damask bedspread. Furniture is Italian provincial, and a unique shadow-box fan on one wall heightens the feeling of gracious simplicity. TED, THE Brims' 12-year-old son, has a room that definitely reflects the tastes of an American youth. Furnished in Early American, the color scheme is brown, yellow and green. An intricately-made covered wagon model ornaments the bedstead, and the gun collection of a budding young hunter stands in a corner cabinet.

Above it are the horns of a deer, Ted's first trophy, shot by him on a hunting trip last season. Eight-year-old Cindy has the sugar-and-spice room of a young lady, feminine but without any weighty sophistication. Furniture is pumice-finish contemporary. A pink and white striped chair in one corner matches the quilted taffeta bedspread and the polished cotton tier curtains. Perhaps the most notable decorating element is Cindy's own an extensive collection of dolls, in all shapes and sizes.

The exterior of the home Is constructed of pink sandstone and white wood, trimmed with pink wrought iron. The Carl Brims, of 3727 E. Pasadena, completely altered the appearance of their newly-purchased home by carefully planning of furnishings and unique accessorizing, yet they were able to retain the original carpeting and wall colors. Brim, who is a real estate dealer, chose the home for its good construction when the family moved here from Casa Grande last May. For the interior they relied on the help of Houston F.

Barton, decorator 1 jr Lou Rcgester's. A LARGE flagstone fireplace is the focal point of the living and dining rooms, forming a half wall that separates the two. Wall-to-wall carpeting is beige and blue wool, with bljac walls in both rooms. Furnishings are Italian provincial in pumice finish. Living room sectionals are taupe-colored polished cotton with a floral pattern, emphasized by a gold sunburst on the wall behind.

In the corner adjacent to the sectionals are two imported Feika musician heads hung above a spinet piano. Two chairs are quilted beige with a gold thread pattern, and a third is purple velvet, with a matching cushion in front of the fireplace. Lamps are pink and gold opaque glass, and pink fortisan draperies overhang the large Normandy window. A STRIKING Shoji silk screen print dominates the dining room scene with larce blue peacock perched on a limb. Sliding glass doors open onto the backyard and swimming pool.

The den is a comfortable spot for the whole family, concentrating books, television set, and a built-in desk In one area. Furnishings are a black and gold pull-man sofa, two pale gold chairs, a blua naugahide lounga and a travertine Shoji silk screea wall print, is striking feature of Carl Brim Home, 3727 E.
