He came here in 1962 from Bonner Springs, Kan. was the city attorney for Neodesha, for 13 years, a Kansas state senator from 1929 to 1933, Kansas state pardon attorney, and a judge in the Seventh Judicial of Kansas from 1941 'to 1946. was also the vice presi-dent and general council of the W. J. Small Alfalfa Dehydrating Co.

Mabel Iverson, 55, a clerical worker with the American Cancer Society, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale. Mrs. Iverson, 4101 W.

La Mar, died Friday in a local hospital. She was born in Conrad, and came here in 1964. Survivors include her husband, Carl one son, Larry Iverson of Scottsdale; one daughter, Mrs. Connie Partington of Billings, two sisters out of state, and four grandchildren. Burial will be in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.

Floyd Heasley Memorial services for Mrs. Floy C. Heasley, 85, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Messinger Mortuary, 515 E. Indian School.

Cremation will follow. Mrs. Heasley died yesterday at her home, 4911 E. In-dianola. She was born in Chippews Falls, and came here in 1957.

She was a member of the Scottsdale Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Dambrova of Phoenix, and three grandchildren. Harold E. iVal FORT THOMAS Services for Harold E.

Neal, 79, a retired bridge and building foreman with the Southern Pacific will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Fort Thomas Ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Res-thaven Memorial Gardens in Safford. TNr. Neal was born in Car-dington, Ohio, and came to Arizona in 1909, settling here in 1916.

He is survived by two sons, Sheldon of Camp Verde and Kenneth of Clarkdale; a sister, Mrs. Maudie Watts of Lake Havasu City; two brothers, Ernie of Camp Verde and Harold of Rimrock; another brother and sister out of state; and four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Lysle D. Reece Services for Lysle D. Reece, 76, a retired brake-man with the Rock Island railroad, will be at 2 p.m.

Weldon, died Saturday in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and came here from Rock Island, 111., 16 years ago. He was a member of Local 531 of the railroad brotherhood and of the Shrine. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hope Britt of Travers AFB, Mrs.

Dorothy Fuhrmeister of Iowa City, Iowa, and Mrs. Wilma Van Gorder of Phoenix; two stepsons, R. H. and A. L.

Kennedy, both of Phoenix, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Carol D. Glaspie Services for Mrs. Carol D. Glaspie, 31, will be at noon tomorrow in A.

L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Park. Mrs.

Glaspie died Saturday at her home, 2202 W. Belmont. She was a lifelong resident of Phoenix. Survivors include her husband, Gary four daughters, Shelly, Jane Christine and Ellen: four brothers, August Robert, David R. and Marshall W.

Penderqast, all of Phoenix; three sisters, Kathryn Pendergast and Laura L. Pendergast, both of Phoenix, and Mrs. Marilyn Dickey of Yuma; and her grandDarents, Mr. and Mrs. John S.

Dixon of Liberty. Rav L. Richardson DUNCAN Services for Ray L. Richardson, 73, a rancher and farmer here and in Virden, N.M., will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the Virden Ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery. Mr. Richardson, who died Saturday in the Safford Inn Hospital, was born in Mexico and came here in 1919. He was a graduate of the LDS Academy in Thatcher. Survivors include his wife, Verna; six sons, Bernard of Lordsburg, N.M., Edwin of Virden, Jorth of Mesa, Jay of Tempe, Cecil of Benson, and Chester of Thatcher; one daughter, Mrs.

Elaine Farns-worth of Fruitland, N.M.; 51 grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren. Friends may call at the Virden Ward Relief Society of the LDS church from 9 a.m. colonel died in air crash Mass for Lt. Col. Michael E.

Styer, 40, who died Tuesday in an aircraft accident on Guam, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis Xavier Church, 4715 N. Central. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Styer, a native of Wolf Point, was en route to a new assignment in the Midwest at the time of his death. His family has lived at 3217 W. Sahuaro Drive for the past seven months. He attended Montana schools and Santa Clara College, Santa Clara, before entering the Air Force 19 years ago. He was graduated from the University of Colorado in 1961.

Surviving are his wife, Faye; a son, Michael two daughters, Chris and Deborah, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Styer, all of Phoenix; two brothers, both of California, and three sisters, including Mrs.

Carol Coltrin of Tucson. Memorials may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Fund. Antoinette Amaya Rosary for Antoinette Amaya, 1 year old, will be recited at 8 p.m. today in Morten-sen-Kings Funeral Center, 1020 W. Washington.

Mass of the Angels will be celebrated at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 909 S. First Ave. Antoinette, 3941 W.

Nancy Lane, died of an illness Friday in a local hospital. She was born in Phoenix. Survivors include her parents, Mr.and Mrs. Fred C. Amaya; one brother, Anthony Amaya; a grandfather, Alberto Amaya, and a grandmother, Dorothy Dominguez, all of Phoenix, and her other grandfather, Benjamin Orozco of Oxnard, Calif.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Elmer L. Godwin GLOBE Graveside services for Elmer L. Godwin, 84, retired general engineer at the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation, will be at 11 a.m.

today in Hinton Cemetery at Geronimo. He had been reservation general engineer 25 years before his retirement 19 years ago. Mr. Godwin died Saturday in Gila General Hospital. He was born in Chardon, and came to Arizona 65 years ago, making his home here 43 years ago.

Survivors include one stepson, Donally Thompson of Globe. Charles Politakis Services and burial of Charles Politakis, 66, a former restaurant cook, will be in Chicago. Mr. Politakis, 949 E. Van Buren, was born in Greece and came to Phoenix 10 years ago from Chicago.

He died yesterday in Memorial Hospital. Survivors include five brothers, Matthew of Phoenix and four out of state. Friends may call at A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W.

Jan Palach remembered by Romans ROME (AP) The Romans unveiled yesterday a monument to Jan Palach, the Czechoslovak student who burned himself to death a year ago to protest Soviet-led repression. Mayor Clelio Dalida accepted the monument as a gift to the city by thousands of Romans who contributed to a drive for fund? launched by a daily newspaper here. The 144-foot bronze monument portrays Palach wrapped in the flames and stretching his hands skyward.

It is the work of sculptor Vit-torio del Colbertaldo. In the unveiling ceremony, the mayor renamed the square where the monument stands Piazza Jan Palach.
