Karl Edward Voldeng 84, of Scottsdale, a physician, died Nov. 11, 1989. He was born in Cherokee, Iowa, and was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran. Survivors include two sons, Karl E. Jr.

Lyman B. Wellington, 79, of Sacaton, a construction carpenter, died Nov. 13, 1989. He was born in Sacaton. Survivors include two sons, Wilfred and Leon; three daughters, Myra Morago, Louella Hendrix and Winona Pratt; 23 grandchildren; and 49 great -grandchildren.
