Mr. Shumway, 529 S. Solomon, was born in Taylor. He had been a bishop for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Winslow and served on the church's Flagstaff stake high council and on the temple presidency here. He also was active in Boy Scouts.

Survivors include his wife, Mabel; children, Joyce Be-ydler and Richard; a sister; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. Dendinger was the first president of the company union in Phoenix. He was born in Evansville, came to Arizona in 1914 and worked for Mountain Bell in Tombstone from 1922 to 1918. He was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors include children, Jean Hazelett and Bob; three grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
