(Larry) Stubbe, 73, son of Henry Ella Smith Stubbe died August 13, 1996 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born and grew up on a dairy farm near Central City, Nebraska. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre of Operation. He moved to AZ from lowa in 1955 and was a Project Engineer at Motorola, retiring in 1986.

Born on December 12, 1901 on a farm in Wabash County, Indiana, she began her teaching career in a one-room school house in rural Indiana. A long time resident of Hammond, Indiana, she taught in the Hammond and Munster elementary schools. from 1950-1970. She had many fond memories of the children she was able to help in her years as Mrs. Fourth Grade" She and her husband, Allan, retired to Sun City, Arizona in 1970 where she read widely, wrote poetry, watched Haley's comet a second time, built a solar oven, took a hot air balloon, ride, and actively campaigned for women's rights through the National Organization for Women (NOW).
