Private Services. Arizona married and moved lo Mesa, AZ. In 1953 they adopted a son, Duncan. In 1965 she was wed to Gerald Hawthorne who retired from Ihc Mesa Proving Grounds in 1980. Millie was employed by Hashas for 17 years, retiring in 1982.

She was very active in the General Motors and Bashas retired groups. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald and son, Duncan. Survivors include a grandson, Cody K. Jones and his wife, Beverly; three great grandchildren, Cole, Brittany and Sarah Jones all of Salt Lake City, Utah; a daughter-in-law, Mary Bates of North Bend, WA; a sister, Stella Cantwell of Live Oak, CA; a brother, Elmer Lewallcn and his wife, Eileen of Duncan, OK; and several nieces and nephews she loved dearly. Millie also leaves behind many dear friends who ill miss her wonderful sense of humor and the caring she demonstrated to all.

A. and Naomi D. Lilquist and was raised on the Milky Way Farm in Hansville, WA with his younger sister. Barbara. He married Marilyn J.

Nelson on (Xtobcr 7, 1961 in Suquam-ish, WA. They welcomed their fhsl daughter, Carie, in 1962 and their second daughter, Joanna, in 1964. They made their home in Poulsbo, WA for many years before moving lo ScotLsdale, AZ in 1973. For several years they traveled between Ihe two states in order to continue operating motion picture theatres, of which he was so fond. In 1990 they bought their present home in Phoenix, AZ.

In the 1950s he belonged to a National Guard unit in Poulsbo that spent summer camp in Yakima, WA. After graduating from North Kitsap High School in 1953 he, with his parents, owned and operated the Almo Theatre in downtown Poulsbo. They built the Big Bear Drive-in in 1955 a few miles from downtown. From 1982 to 1985 he also operated the South Twin Drive-in in Tempe, AZ. From 1986 through 1989 he managed the Glenfair Cinema in Glendale, AZ.

His wife and daughters worked with him at all of the theatres. Along with his theatre responsibilities in 1964, he began driving truck for the North Kitsap Gravel and Asphalt Company. He continued driving for ten years as a member of Teamster union 0589. He became a part-time employee of Phoenix Newspapers, Inc. in 1990 and continued there until his death.

Wherever he worked, he put all his energies into doing the best job he could. All of his employees, employers and co-workers knew they could depend on him to get any job done and they liked him, too. Anyone who ever met him immediately liked him. He always worked long and hard to provide for his family and he taught his daughters the meaning of good work ethics. They learned well because they had a great teacher to emulate.

He was the main part of a close and loving family and they miss him terribly. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marilyn; daughter Joanna Lilquist of the family home; daughter and son-in-law Carie and Stuart Maeshiro, grandson Garrett Maeshiro and granddaughter Tara Maeshiro, all of Seottsdale, AZ; sister Barbara Allshouse of North Hollywood, CA; and niece Lora Watkins of Bridgeport, CT. His family would be pleased if donations were made in his memory to the Arizona Humane Society, 9226 N. 13th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021. Raimondo Galluzzo, 94, died Monday, November 26, 2(X)1 at his home in Phoenix.

Born in Italy, September 1, 1907 he came to Arizona in 1988 from New York. A member of St. Paul's Catholic Church he is survived by his wife Giovanna, 10 children, Rosaria, Moses, Maddalcna, Maria, Carmelo, Giuseppa, Vittoria, Salvatore, Angela, Giuseppe, 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation for friends will begin at Thursday, November 29, 2001 and conclude at A prayer vigil will be at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary, 200 West Bcardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona. Funeral Mass will be Friday, November 30, 2001 at at St.

Paul's Catholic Church, 330 West Coral Gables Drive. Entombment will follow at Phoenix Memorial Park. Phoenix Memorial Mortuary cared for the family in their time of need. 3rd St, Phoenix. William K. Britt, age 73, of Phoenix Arizona, passed away November 24. 2001. There will be private family services.

Arrangements by Botimer Funeral Home and became a U.S. citizen in 1949. Al received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Missouri at Columbia, and his medical degree in 1954 at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He served his internship and residencies in general and thoracic surgery at KUMC. After serving as a Flight Surgeon and Chief, Aviation Medicine Service, at Carswell Air Force Base, Ft.

Worth, Texas, he continued his medical career at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, rising to Chief of Staff in 1973. In 1977, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona, as Chief of Staff of the VAMC, a position he ultimately held until his retirement from the VAMC in Tucson, Arizona in 1990. Al also was a Professor of Surgery for the University of Kansas School of Medicine, and later, was Adjunct Professor of Surgery, Associate Dean for Phoenix and Associate Dean for VA Affairs for the University of Arizona College of Medicine. AJ leaves behind his wife, Kay, daughters Pamela McCurley and Maria Wil liams, son Mark, and a sister, Ruth Waxman. Al touched many throughout his life and he will be sadly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Arrangements by Greer Wilson Funeral Home. Esther Loffman, passed away Monday evening in the peaceful surroundings of her own residence' at 12212 N. Paradise Village Parkway South, Apt. 145C, Phoenix, Arizona. Esther was born on December 7, 1915 in Ashtabula, Ohio.

She resided in Ashtabula for 77 years before moving to Arizona in 1993. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Leslie, who passed away in 1989. Survivors included Esther's four sons, Laurence Strongsville, OH: Kenneth Phoenix, AZ; F. Harlan, Seottsdale, AZ; and Jon Kinnelon, NJ. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Esther's life was centered around her family, her church, as well as an active social life. She was a member of the Calvin Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Phoenix, and prior to moving to Arizona, a long-time member of Harris Memorial Presbyterian Church in Ashtabula. She was an avid Bridge player, bowler, and reader-from the daily newspaper to a constant stream of novels. But, her family mattered most-she will always. be remembered as a loving and caring mom, grandma, and Call hours will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., with funeral services following at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2001 at A.

He was born in Poland and moved to the Valley 30 years ago from Chicago, IL. He was a retired purchasing agent, a member of Beth El Congregation, B'nai B'rith, a volunteer for the Council of Soviet Jewry, and served with the United States Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie R. Adler. Survivors include his son David (Ilene) Adler, his daughter Rivy (Donald) Block; grandchildren Allan (Heidi) Block, Joyce (Michael) Har-ader, Dan and Adena Adler, and five great-grandchildren.
