Uur beloved husband, brother, on Easter 5un-i day, April 20, 2003 after a lonq and cou rageous battle with cancer. She was born nn (irrnnpr -en i 1928 in Summit 1 Mississippi.

She is one of seven children who have Patricia Audrey Bacon, 79, or Maitland, Florida, passed away on April 16, 2003. Services will be held on Friday, April 25th, 1:00 p.m. at City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center Mesa, AZ. Arrangements by Bunker's Garden Chapel.

Rebecca Barnard, 70, of Mesa, AZ died April 19, 2003 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born September 17, 1932 in Middle-bury, Indiana and worked as a Medical Insurance Clerk for 12 years with Dr. Ronald Cox and 16 years with Dr. Anand, Allergy Associates. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Elkhart, IN.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Melcher's Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Mesa, Arizona. Visitation will be held from p.m. and p.m., on Tuesday at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents Vian and Doris Wright, one daughter-in--law and a grandson.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald L. Barnard; sons, Gary (Cheryl) Barnard of Goshen, IN, Steve A. (Shirley) Barnard of Apache Junction, AZ, Bradley V. (Susan) Barnard of Oneida, KY and Randy L. (Pat) Barnard of White Pigeon, Ml; sister, Margaret Hill; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A highly regarded community member he was known for his generous support, gentle heart and great sense of humor. A husband, father, grandpa, brother, friend, he will be greatly missed, never forgotten. Thursday 4-24 at Whitney Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home Rosary will be said at 6:30 with a Memorial Service to follow. Friday the 25th burial service at 11:00 A.M. at the National Memorial Cemetery with full Military honors.

His mother Lillian Rachel Arnhold of Scottsdale; his aunts Mary Faith Barker and Leta Ruth Boulware of Mexico, Missouri; and many cousins throughout the Midwestern United States survive him. A memorial and celebration of the life of Jonathan Arnhold will be held 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 24th at Messinger's Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Road in Scottsdale. 85282. David Baca, 78, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Ouemado, New Mexico, passed away April 18, 2003. He spent most of his life working on cattle ranches. He was the oldest of 8 children and was always there for his family when they needed him. He is survived by his brothers: Eddie Baca, Joe Baca, Louis Baca and Frank Baca; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

she had two children, Ralph and Pat While Ralph Jr. was in the Pacific (WWII) she returned to Arizona State Teacher's College in Tempe to study art. When her husband died in 1954, she expanded her ceramic studio in Phoenix and soon opened Leona Caldwell Originals in the Kiva Craft Center on Fifth Avenue in Scottsdale, neighbor to fellow artisans Lloyd Kiva, Charles Loloma, Paolo Soleri and many others. She created ceramic jewelry and garments silkscreened with original designs inspired by Hohokam artifacts, animals and plants of the Southwestern desert. She retired in 1978 to enjoy her home, garden, and family.

In addition to her two children Ralph W. Caldwell and Patricia L. Konomos, she has five grandchildren: Kevin Higgins, James Konomos (deceased), Karen Markland, Anastasia Konomos, and Ralph T. Caldwell. She is great-grandmother to eight and beloved aunt and friend to many.

She will be remembered by all for her creativity and moral example, and missed for her generosity and love. After a viewing in the Serenity Chapel of Greenwood Memory Lawn from graveside services will follow Wednesday, April 23. She loved flowers; or donations to Episcopal World Missions, Hospice of the Valley, or Kivel Nursing Home would be very appreciated. Tucson. AZ. Burial following service at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. Harry Oliver Cromwell, age 82, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2003. Harry was born in Neodsha, Kansas, June 16, 1920 and has lived in Arizona for 63 years.

He served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II. He was a local businessman and rancher for 30 years and is a former member of the Navajo County Sheriffs Posse. Harry was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends. Bernece Mary Damon, died April 12, 2003 in Glendale. She was born April 28, 1931 in Washington, IA. Bernece's hobby was the making of wonderful miniatures and she was a member of the Small World Miniature Club. She was also an avid gardener and she enjoyed passing her knowledge to family and friends. She is survived by her children: Sharon Krushak (Larry Adkins) Flagstaff, Robert Damon of Flagstaff, and Melinda Short (Mike) of Pagosa Springs, CO.

He was born No vember 20, 1912 in Park Ridae. ILL to William Walter and' Edna Moffatt Gurr. He married Muriel Nelson September 20, 1940 in III. He attended the University of Illinois for a Bachelor's degree, later the Western III University, for a masters degree in education, then attended the Northwestern University for post masters education. During this time he was also active in several fraternal organizations including Sigma Chi, Phi Delta Kappa and National Science Teachers Association.

He worked for many years for the Dupont Chemical Co. And then follows his love of teaching in the Phoenix Union High School System. Nick and his wife, Dr. Muriel Gurr came to Arizona in 1949 and continued careers in education. Nick was a true Gentleman and enjoyed life to its fullest.

He loved to garden, to associate with those around him, play a good game of chess, and especially loved caring for and being with his sweetheart Muriel. If Kou met Nick, you knew you ad a true friend and his personality was infectious. He truly took time to care for those he met, and his positive outlook on life continued through challenges of age to his passing. He leaves this world a much better place, and many will always be honored to call Nick He is survived by his loving wife and companion Dr. Muriel N.

Gurr, Sun City West, a sister Betty Claborn of Michigan and many nieces, nephews and friends will miss him greatly. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Gurr. Ballard Jr. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, I aiiu uiuuiei. He was born 4-19-1933, went to our Lord 4-18-2003. George was born and raised in Seymour, Indiana. He graduated from Shields High School in 1951.

He served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborn Division during the Korean War. He was decorated with the Bronze Star for Bravery Under Fire. George attended Purdue University under the G.I. Bill and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1958.

George married Diane Borcherding, also from Seymour, in June 1958. They have four loving sons; Ron, Bob, Brian and Mark; eight grandchildren; Angie, Lisa, Adam, Daniel, Aaron, Amber, Tanner and little Markie. The family moved to Phoenix from Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1963 where George started working for Goodyear Aerospace until he retired in 1990. George's happiest years were when he was coaching Pop Warner Football and Little League Baseball. He was an inspiration to all of us and touched countless lives as a coach and later as a teacher.

He taught at Greenway H.S. in Phoenix and Gray Hills H.S. in Tuba City. He also tutored under privileged children through Valley Cathedral Church. He is also survived by two sisters, Sonya Decker and Betty Brand and sister and brother-in-law Bette and Roger Push.

Memorial services will be held at Valley Cathedral Church, 6225 N. Central at 10am on Wednesday, April 23, 2003, with graveside service immediately following at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beards-ley Rd, Phoenix Az. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Valley or the American Society Cancer Society. Henry Madrid Guzman 78 died in Wittman, AZ April 16, 2003.

He served in the Army during WWII and Korean War. She has 4 grandchildren, Denisa, Michael, Elise, Jessica, and 2 great-grandchildren, Griffin and Haven, who have been blessed to know the joy of having a "Mamaw" who adored them. Marion was a warm hearted and loving person to all her family and friends. She was a ray of sunshine in the lives of many and always took the time to listen and encourage others. She is one of the "Valiant as her sister Margaret calls her, who enriched all our lives.

Louise Hogman, a longtime resident of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on April 13, .2003 at the age of 93. Her two loving daughters were at her side. Louise was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She was a 1933 graduate of the University of Wisconsin. She and her late husband, Marty, raised their family in Wisconsin.

After moving to Phoenix in 1967, Louise worked as a ward clerk at Good Samaritan Hospital and then at Sakowitz store in Scottsdale. Louise is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth (and Erv) Hinds of Santa Fe, NM and LuAnn (and Bob) Watkins of Truckee, CA; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Watkins of Portland, OR, Eric (and Aleacia) Hinds of Denver, CO, Emily and Ellie Hinds of Santa Monica CA; one great grandchild, Isabella Hinds of Denver, CO; a sister, Gertrude Nienstedt of San Diego, CA; sister-in-law, Merrette Caplow of Sun City, AZ and the beloved Philip Nienstedt family of Paradise Valley, AZ. Louise will be especially remembered by family and friends for her loving kindness, generosity, strength of character, and youthful outlook; her love of animals, sports, and long walks. She was blessed with a long, healthy, active life. Her loved ones will miss her very much and will have many wonderful memories of times spent with her.

Many thanks and love to the special people who have taken care of Louise over the past four years; Jackie and "the girls" at Hacienda Granada and also Hospice of AZ. Mae Marquis, 93 resident of Mesa passed away April 19, 2003. Mae arrived in 3 Phoenix from Colo- (nmyj rado Springs, Colo- rado with her husband Bill and Daughter Beverly in 1944. Together they owned operated two different Motels including Canary Court Motel. Mae was active in community work over the years. Her volunteer work included everything from helping with her daughter's activities at Phoenix Union High School to working with physically mentally challenged children through her church.

Mae also worked for Goldwaters Robinson May for 30 years. She enjoyed summer times in Lakeside- Pinetop at the cabin she Bill built. She embodied all of the values principles that have come to define Americas Greatest Generation. We will miss her love, faithfulness, thoughtfulness smiles. Funeral services will be held on Thur.

April 24th at 3 PM with visitation 2 hours prior at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary 719 N. 27th Avenue. Phoenix since 1947 and was a i librarian with the City of i Phoenix. She is survived by her son, Brian Bingham, daughter, April Yergin, brother, John Budoff, sister, Beverly Budoff, grandson, Benjamin Bingham, 3 additional grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Erwin C. Bohstedt, 79 of Phoenix, AZ. passed away April 19, 2003. He was born August 23, 1923 in Victor, Iowa. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen daughters, Connie (John) Hamner, Bonnie (S'2ve) Hamner, Vicki (Bill) Hutchinson, Dawn (Howie) Ohman; sons, Jerry (Marsha) and Mark (Kelly) Bohstedt; brother, Clayton Bohstedt and 1 sister, Janice Jordan; sixteen grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22, 2003 4-6PM at Hansen Chapel, 8314 7th Phoenix, AZ with graveside service Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Carol Sue Borrowdale went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 16th, 2003 after a 6 year battle with cancer.

Carol was a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Masters in English and Education. She was an active member of Bethany Bible Church in Phoenix and a 10 year member of Bible Study Fellowship International. Carol married her husband, Kenneth in 1991 and became the mother of his two daughters Elizabeth and Erica. Carol and her husband moved to Long Beach in May of 2002 where she received treatment at the City of Hope in Duarte, California. She exhibited strength and courage during her trial with cancer by relying on her faith and the love of her family and close friends.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth, daughters Elizabeth and Erica, parents Roland and Doris Gilmore and brother Scott Gilmore. Memorial Service is scheduled for April 24th, 2003 at 2:30 PM at Bethany Bible Church, 6060 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85013. Donations in her memory can be made to: Gospel 4 Kids, P.O.
