The loss snapped a six-game Holbrook winning streak and put the Roadrunners in a position of having to win tonight against Window Rock to tie the Wildcats at 7-1 for the Class North Division title.

Gerald Jeffery Chinle. hit for 23 tO top FLAOStAFP QLENDALE 51 RAY BROKE out to a 33-26 halftime margin and held on the rest of the way for a 67-58 win over Coolidge. Tony Meza had 21 for Ray. Morenci also used a strong first half burst to outscore Thatcher, 75-59. The Wildcats led 45-31 at the half mainly on the strength of Ruben Cer- avantes' 26 points.

In another Class A contest, Willcox rolled to a 74-62 victory over San Manuel. Willcox, led by Randy Keller, pumped in 48 points in the second half. In other Class A action, Eloy dropped its second game In a row, this time to Superior, 44-32. Eloy had won eight straight and were rated No. 4 before the two losses.

Both teams are now 8-2 in the Class A South League. Snowflake edged Mingus 65-62 on the strength of a 23 point third quarter. Mingus' Paul Tavasci pumped in 30 points in a losing effort. IN AA GAMES, No. 1 Flowing Wells continued to roll with a convincing 81-63 triumph over Miami No.

5 in AA. Monte Davis topped Flowing Wells with 31. No. 2 Agua Fria had a tougher time of it with No. 5 rated in Ajo, 54-51.

Sam Johnson meshed 22 for the Owls while Ajo's Ed son had 16. In games involving other rated teams, No. 3 Buena walloped Safford 79-61. Globe also trimmed Canyon del Oro 65-60 and Window Rock edged Winslow 53-50. TEMPE'S BUFFALOES continued their winning ways last night with a 75-59 victory over Casa Grande in a Central Division, League A on- test.

The Buffs, now 7-1 in the league and 19-1 on the season, were led byTom Bunger's 18 markers followed by John Blue's 16. Ira Keeton had 24 for Casa Grande. Flagstaff upset Glendale 63-51 in an important Skyline Division, League A contest. The Eagles are 3-1 in league play while Glendale drops to 3-2. Dan Smith canned 21 for the Kings and Fritz Small hit for 19. The No. 1-ranked Tucson Badgers had to come from behind to defeat stuborn Pueblo 69-61. Tucson scored 45 points in the second half to Pueblo's 32 in pulling the verdict out. Delano Price's 29 sparked Tucson.

Arcadia stayed in the running for the Central Division title with a 68-63 thumping of Yuma. Charlie Reed's 31 markers for Yuma kept it close but balanced scoring for the Titans pulled it out. In other AAA action, Prescott edged St. Mary's 60-57 behind Rod BrimhaH's 24 points. The game was all tied up at the end of three periods.

No. 1-rated Marana in Class trounced Sahurita, 89-53, with Ray Alexander providing the scoring punch with 31. Sahuarita actually led at the half, 33-27 but the Tigers poured in 35 third-quarter points. NO. 2 PARKER stopped Antelope's unbeaten skein at 14 in a 79-55 rout.

Parker led 24-11 at the quarter and were never headed. No. 3 Round Valley stayed unbeaten with a 72-58 win over Duncan. No. 10 Hayden came up with 25 points from Eddie Padilla for a 68-57 win over Apache Junction.
