it i Mrs. Lois Duncan, 70, founded religious center SEDONA Memorial services for Mrs. Lois Kellogg Duncan. 70. will be at 10 a m.

Sunday at the Sri Aurobindo Center. Crescent Moon Ranch. announced the Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood. Mrs. Duncan died last Thursday while visiting in Scottsdale with her husband, Nicholas.

Born in Buffalo. N.Y.. Mrs. Duncan had been a winter visitor to the Phoenix area between 1941 and 1953. In 1953 she purchased the Sedona had been raised.

Mrs. Duncan had a lifelong interest in East Indian philosophy and religion, and in 1953 she founded the Sedona chapter of the Cultural Integration Fellowship as a branch of the late Dr. Haridas Chaudhuri's ashram in San Francisco. Mrs. Duncan first visited India in 1935 and through her friendship with Margaret Woodrow Wilson, daughter of President Wilson, became a student of the works of the Indian sage, spiritual teacher and philosopher Sri Aurobindo, founder of integral yoga. Mr. and Mrs.

Duncan made several visits to the Sri Aurobindo ashram at Pondicherry, India, and on April 24, 1966, received permission to found a Sri Aurobindo center here. The center has a nationwide membership. Myrtle Wassilak Mrs. Myrtle Wassilak, 81, who moved here in 1943 from Kent, Ohio, died Saturday in the Capri Nursing Home. Mrs.

Wassilak, 6034 N. Ninth was born in Mount Gilead, Ohio. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nelle Austin of Phoenix and Mrs. June Hart of Girard, a son, A.

F. of Van Nuys, a brother out of state and four grandchildren. Cremation followed private services yesterday, Grimshaw's Bethany Chapel announced. The family suggests contributions to the Heart Fund. Concepcion Berrelleza Rosary for Mrs.

Concepcion T. Berrelleza, 86; who died yesterday in Memorial Hospital, will be recited at 8 p.m. today in Mortensen-Kings Funeral Center, 1020 W. Washington. Mass will be said at 9 a.m.

tomorrow in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 919 S. 16th Place. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Mrs.

Berrelleza, of 1329 E. Madison, was born in Mexico, came to Tucson 54 years ago and had resided the past 43 years in Phoenix. Survivors include two sons, Adolfo and Theodore, both of Phoenix, and a daughter, Mrs. Concepcion Mendoza, all of Phoenix; a sister, Mrs. Elena Frasquillo of Tucson; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Lawrence Roop Rosary for Lawrence F. Roop, 43, who died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital, will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in Whitney and Murphy Chapel, 330 N. Second Ave. Additional services and burial will be in Albuquerque.

Mr. Roop, of 945 E. Missouri, came to Phoenix in 1961 from Albuquerque and was manager of the Western Auto Supply Co. here. He was born in Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; two sons, David and Vincent; three daughters, Nadine, Dorothy and Marilyn, all of Phoenix; his mother, Mrs. Peral Roop of Albuquerque; and three sisters out of state. Duncan was active in Sedona community affairs, was a supporter and former board member of the Sedona Arts Center and for many years gave Christmas parties at Crescent Moon Ranch for underprivileged children of the Verde Valley. She is survived by her husband: two sons. Edward Roth of New York City and Howard Roth of Phoenix: one daughter, Mrs. Lindsey Adof Greenwich, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Sri Aurobindo Center.

Francis Cemetery. Mrs. Bond, of 3831 N. 21st moved here 13 years ago from Schaller, Iowa, She was born in Mount Sterling, Ill. Survivors include her husband, John; a daughter, Mrs.

Karl Schwab of Phoenix; a brother out of state and five grandchildren. Matha Pellett Services for Mrs. Matha Pellett, 69, will be at 2 p.m. today in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9424 N. Seventh Ave.

Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery, Glendale, Hansen Mortuary announced. Mrs. Pellett, of 1660 W. Bell Road, died Saturday in John C. Lincoln Hospital.

Born in Buffalo Lake, she moved to Phoenix 12 years ago from Chula Vista, Calif. Survivors include two sons, Glendon and Lonald, both of Phoenix, and six sisters and a brother out of state. Francis Labouff Graveside services for Francis J. Labouff, 63, will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow in Greenwood Cemetery, 2300 W.

Van Buren, Mercer Mortuary announced. Mr. Labouff died Saturday in his home, at 1101 W. Adams. Born in St.

Joseph, he moved here five years ago. He had been a laborer. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Frances Linck of St. Joseph, and a sister and a brother out of state.

Survivors include his wife, Flora; his mother, Mrs. Annie Goad, and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Bellas, both of Phoenix; and a sister and brother out of state.

Bycroft, 87. who came to Arizona 28 years ago from Gillespie, died yesterday in Golden Mesa Extended Care Facility. Mr. Bycroft, of 1115 W. Sixth Place, was a retired furniture dealer and had lived in Mesa the past 20 years.

He was a life member of Mesa Elks Lodge 1781. He was born in St. Louis. Survivors include a son, Harry M. of Phoenix; a daughter, Mrs.

Dorothy Mitchell of Mesa; 10 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in Larry J. Melcher Mortuary, 43 S. Stapley.

Mass will be said at noon tomorrow in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 36 W. First St. Burial will be in Mesa Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Tri-City Mental Health Center, 500 W. 10th Place.
